Ok had the weirdest dream last night. It was about my lecturer - of why he wasn't at uni. Apparently, he had to go overseas since something happened over there that revealed that he was some russian spy. And there were news shows on his life when he was a kid till now.

First Day Back at Uni

Scariest day of the year. Going back for design. I think the fear lasted till familiar faces came and sat beside me. YAY! - I'm not a loner anymore. Kind of felt like the old days back in during the first/mid years of archi with Pols and H. I think I also got back into the routine of hanging out after class and not doing much as I did today with Pols and the shagable guy. OHHH never guess who I saw around the mall - the one and only D7 tutor - Ruwando! (yea i forgot the actual spelling)
We also realised that people are more happier once they dropped out of architecture. What is up with that?!

Another Sydney trip but in Winter

It was my dad's birthday this month so we headed over to Sydney! Any excuse to fly down is perfect. We even experienced the a new Virgin Australia plane. Yay for clean seats that were leather. So didn't need that extra barrier (a folded pillow case) between my ass and the seat.
I finally saw the famous Tiara! After trying to reach to the Aquarium in time. It didn't happen cause of the following reasons: car break down in tunnel. Re-arranging train station to Chatswood since we were staying at Mantra.
Anyway Aquarium was pretty alright. Just disliked the many children around that liked to stick their faces and hands to the displays which prevented me from taking awesome photos. Gr.



After the Aquarium we went to Cargo Bar and had lunch. omigawd - best pizza ever! Fully packed. Defs want to go back lol.
I realise now I am in love with Brisbane. After 8 or 9 years I've converted myself to Brisbane. Best weather anywhere! Sydney is so damn cold. The sun doesn't even warm the skin like it does here. No winter sun bathing can happen down there. I forgot my jacket at home which wasn't that bad I thought since I was going to buy another down in Sydney. That didn't happen till friday. Luckily the sauna warmed me up after a cold day and night.
The rest of the trip was spent with my older sister plus her entire family and we did fit in seeing my uncle one night. Just so dad could watch NRL. Ohh the pain of rugby. I fully watched about 4 matches. I asked my cousin how married life is. He replied back saying that it is expensive lol.
We also spent most of the time shopping. For warm clothes lol. I even got myself a scarf and two jackets. Mum and I appreciated their asian district. Had potential kitchenwares. We also saw this blue bear man roaming around. Strange.
I wonder now when I'll be going down again. Hoping not in the winter. I now prefer t-shirt seasons.

Coffee crisis

I'm going through an identity crisis. The cute coffee guy knows me as "large skim flat white" (!!) ... I just nod, even though I'm a caramel latte.
